Torta Pasqualina, traditional Italian Easter pie. All honer to the chef, my mom.
I made an easter egg to Gaute and he made one for me, and then we had an easter egg hunt. It was Gaute’s first time searching for his egg since he haven’t grown up with that tradition and it was funny watching him growing frustrated with not finding the egg. Had to give him a huge hint in the end to help him find his egg, and then when it was my turn to search, he hid my egg in such an easy place!
We also had a money limit on what to put in the easter eggs but it turned out that both of us had broken the limit by a bunch. No regrets of course.
Egg and bacon for breakfast :D Not a very Norwegian breakfast and actually the first time Gaute and me have made it together.
Tveita centre, where I am a lot these days because of having to by food and stuff. It was closed because of Easter but we where getting Dolly Pizza. The rest of the day was spent blogging pictures for this blog. Holidays is the only time I have energy and time to blog it seems.
Wii and Nintendo 64 with friends. I finally got to try the classic Goldeneye 007, and die a lot.
Suddenly nabe (Japanese hotpot)! Never made it from scratch before, and we had to go to a special Asian food shop to get some of the ingredients, but it was a success (much thanks to Muriel and Tore, which had the idea and were the main chefs, all honor to them).
First ice cream outside, going all out with hard to get ice cream tastes from Norway’s only Ben & Jerry’s ice cram bar.
